Jerry and Colleen Biscone have owned JeriCo Farm in Berthoud, Colorado since 1998.
We offer a well-rounded program of training horses from start to finish as well as instructional programs for riders of all levels of experience. The farm is complete with our stallion, Frenchmans Irish, broodmares and babies.
Jerry has over 30 years experience in the equine industry. He has been involved in training and showing many world champions in various events including Halter, Western and English Performance Classes, Team Roping and Barrel Racing. He has extensive experience handling stallions and managing breeding programs, including being stallion manager at renowned Windward Stud in Purcell, Oklahoma. As an experienced farm manager, he offers a safe and well-rounded program for both the horse and rider. He has trained hundreds of horses from start to finish. With a natural sense and feel for the horse, he has found great success in his career.
Colleen has been a Kindergarten teacher in the Loveland, Colorado school district since 1984. She is the business manager of Biscone Training, but works with Jerry as much as possible with the horses, especially during the summer months. She is a certified equine massage therapist and uses Photonic Light Therapy with the horses. Her area of competition is focused on barrel racing. She is looking forward to retirement from her teaching career in 2008 to work full time with Jerry. They will continue to develop programs for the horse and rider, and to promote Frenchmans Irish.
Both Jerry and Colleen are students of Parelli Natural Horsemanship.
Their son, Matt, is attending the Air Force Academy Prep School in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
