2008 Breeding Fee: $1,250 (includes first shipment)
BARREL HORSE NEWS, February, 2007....don't miss the great article about "the bottom line", featuring Lucky's granddam, Caseys Charm. She is also in the Western Horsemans Legend's Volume 6...Lucky himself is on page 224 as an example of the type of horse the Loiseau family breeds for....what an honor for us!
Also in the edition is a great article about "FUTURE FORTUNES", the stallion incentive program that paid out more than $80,000 in 2006 futurities and over $158,000 in 2007 futurities. In 2008, Future Fortunes will start paying out in the Open Division at select barrel races (any 2004 or later horse that was sired by a FF Stallion can grandfather into the Open program for a one time fee of $200 due by December 1, 2008)
LUCKY is a Future Fortunes-nominated stallion, and we have nominated all of our babies to it as well...what a great program!
“LUCKY” CARRIES THE BLOODLINES AND CONFORMATION TO SIRE HORSES THAT WOULD WORK ANY EVENT”
..Joyce Loomis-Kernek, World Champion Barrel Racer, Trainer and Clinician. Meet Joyce at www.loomis-kernek.com
LUCKY is a gorgeous 9 year old stallion, bred to perform and bred to produce. He is solid chestnut in color and stands 15 hands, 1100 pounds. He has solid bone, straight legs, a powerfully built body, a beautiful head
.the quarter horse conformation that people look for in a stallion prospect. Add to that
a terrific disposition.
LUCKY'S PEDIGREE is complete with champions in racing, performance, halter, and in events that include barrel racing, cutting, roping, track racing and reining.
AQHA HALL OF FAME ancestors include on the top side
.CHICADO V (nominated in March of 2006 as the only mare to foal 5 AAAT runners), THREE BARS, EASY JET, JET DECK, and LENA’S BAR (TB). On the bottom side, you will find DOC BAR and DRIFTWOOD.
LUCKY’S sire, FLYMA BARS, was an own son of THE OLE MAN, a superior race sire as well as an AQHA sire of champions in halter and performance. FLYMA BARS was lost to the horse industry as an 8 year old due to an untimely death. Walter Merrick, with FLYMA BARS for a photo, is known to have said “this is what a quarter horse was meant to be”. He was a gorgeous sorrel stallion, standing 15’2 hands.
LUCKY'S dam, PCFRENCHMANSLISBET, is sired by SUNFROST (progeny earnings of over $1.8 million). Her dam, CASEYS CHARM, is the nation’s #1 Barrel Racing Matron. Both mares are featured in the Western Horseman Legends Book Volume 6 released in 2005. PCFRENCHMANSLISBET is the only full sister to World Champion Barrel Racing Horse, BOZO. Look for LUCKY on page 224. For further information about LUCKY’S bottom side, go to www.frenchmansquarterhorses.com

LUCKY’S disposition is second to none. He is easy to haul, easy to compete on. He is willing to do whatever is asked of him
. from barrel racing to working cattle to breeding, he is all business. We plan to promote him in the Versatility Ranch Horse competition in 2008.
LUCKY is proving himself as a stallion that stamps his offspring with many of his great attributes
.great disposition, great looks and pretty heads, great athletic ability, and a great quarter horse build. Everyone who has a LUCKY baby on the ground raves about them!
FRENCHMANS BIG EASY (aka Bambi) and FRENCHMANS GOVERNOR (aka Arnold Schwartzeneger) are our 3 year old geldings, LUCKY’S first babies from 2005 that we have been working with. They have good size, pretty heads, great conformation, athletic ability, and that great LUCKY attitude. Both are nominated to Future Fortunes. Both pedigrees include Hall of Fame inductees SUGAR BARS, DASH FOR CASH and EASY JET on the bottom side. No doubt here that LUCKY throws good size
they are 15 hands themselves!
The 2006 2 year olds here include 2 fillies... FRENCHMANS CODY goes back to CHICADO V on the bottom side. RED HOT FRENCH KISS (Frenchie) is a solid chestnut breeding stock paint with the bloodlines of MY PAINTED ROBIN and MARDELLE DIXON. We won the Rocky Mountain Paint Horse Association Weanling Futurity in 2000 with her half sister, PRETTY HOT SCOTCH. The 2 stud colts, FRENCH WRENCH and FRENCHMANS IRISH LAD are full brothers to the 3 year olds, and are chestnut as well. All are nominated to Future Fortunes, and the 3 quarter horses are nominated to the AQHA Incentive Fund.
In 2007, we were blessed with 3 more LUCKY babies....these yearlings include FRENCH BROWN SUGAR, a chestnut full sister to FRENCHMANS GOVERNOR and FRENCH WRENCH; a solid bay filly, LUCKYS IRISH MAGGIE, out of our mare MERCY MAGNOLIA (by RUNNERELSE); and a solid sorrel full brother to RED HOT FRENCH KISS, RED HOT LUCKY STREAK.
2008 brought us a beautiful bay filly, LUCKY STAR, who is out of our RARE BAR mare, SLOSTARTFASTFINISH....she's a doll with that great Lucky personality!
LUCKY is a truly a gift
he is intelligent, and an honest gentleman. He is a focused competitor with a heart and desire to do his best. We are truly blessed to have the opportunity in our lifetime to have a stallion of his caliber reside at JeriCo Farm.
