News: Lucky is currently at our ranch in Berthoud, Colorado. He is competing in barrel racing, and getting some seasoning in team roping and western mounted shooting. He is showing off his versatility!

He has solid bone, straight legs, a powerfully built body, a beautiful head….the quarter horse conformation that people look for in a stallion prospect. Add to that… a terrific disposition!
 LUCKY'S PEDIGREE is complete with champions in racing, performance, halter, and in events that include barrel racing, cutting, roping, track racing and reining.
AQHA HALL OF FAME ancestors include on the top side….CHICADO V (nominated in March of 2006 as the only mare to foal 5 AAAT runners), THREE BARS, EASY JET, JET DECK, and LENA’S BAR (TB). On the bottom side, you will find DOC BAR and DRIFTWOOD.
LUCKY’S sire, FLYMA BARS, was an own son of THE OLE MAN, a superior race sire as well as an AQHA sire of champions in halter and performance. FLYMA BARS was lost to the horse industry as an 8 year old due to an untimely death. Walter Merrick, standing with FLYMA BARS for a photo, is known to have said “this is what a quarter horse was meant to be”. LUCKY'S dam, PCFRENCHMANSLISBET, is sired by SUNFROST (progeny earnings of over $1.8 million). Her dam, CASEYS CHARM, is the nation’s #1 Barrel Racing Matron. Both mares are featured in the Western Horseman Legends Book Volume 6 released in 2005. PCFRENCHMANSLISBET is the only full sister to World Champion Barrel Racing Horse, BOZO. LUCKY’S disposition is second to none. He is easy to haul, easy to compete on. He is willing to do whatever is asked of him…. from barrel racing to working cattle to breeding, he is all business. LUCKY is proving himself as a stallion that stamps his offspring with many of his great attributes….great disposition, great looks and pretty heads, great athletic ability, and a great quarter horse build. Everyone who has a LUCKY baby on the ground raves about them! Many folks choose to breed their mare to LUCKY after spending some time with his babies.
